Quality Assurance System Policy
Giresun University adopts as its quality assurance policy the design of quality assurance mechanisms, measurement and evaluation activities, and processes in an integrated structure that considers the responsibilities and positions of all its units, in accordance with international standards, in line with its quality policy and strategic plan, mission and vision. The policy aims to provide services to internal and external stakeholders in accordance with established standards and to ensure sustainability in these services.
 

Education and Instruction Policy
Giresun University adopts as its education and instruction policy a comprehensive educational approach that updates and meets the needs and expectations of all relevant parties through an education and training program structure designed according to international standards and continuous improvement principles. This policy maintains a student-centered educational approach and research-based methods, using a qualified teaching staff and new learning-teaching techniques. It allows students to understand research processes and problems, to learn through research, emphasizes quality awareness, and is implemented with managers, instructors, and all other staff who uphold ethics and professionalism, ensuring that students can become innovative leaders in their field and succeed in post-academic life.
 

Research and Development Policy
Giresun University adopts as its research and development policy the generation of knowledge and value at national and international levels, primarily taking into account regional and local needs, in line with its mission, vision, core values, quality policy, and strategic plan. It encourages research, promotes R&D and innovative activities within the framework of collaboration and interaction, facilitates the dissemination of these activities, and continuously monitors and develops research resources and infrastructure based on R&D outputs and achievements to maximize the technological, economic, social, and cultural competitiveness and development of the country.
 

Management System Policy
Giresun University adopts as its management system policy the effective execution of corporate knowledge production and utilization, taking into account the efficiency of management, accountability, and public information through information management systems and applications that support quality assurance systems. In this context, the university carefully monitors processes related to the effective and efficient use of all its resources and ensures the protection and reliability of corporate information.
 

Social Contribution Policy
Giresun University adopts as its social contribution policy the determination of educational, teaching, and research-development activities in line with the priorities and expectations of national, regional, and local society. Through its academic and administrative units, as well as research and application centers, the university delivers educational programs, social and cultural activities, and the added value generated from these activities to the development and benefit of all internal and external stakeholders. It ensures continuity in achieving social contribution and uses feedback mechanisms to incorporate stakeholders’ views and suggestions, while maintaining cultural and environmental sensitivity.
 

Internationalization Policy
Giresun University adopts as its internationalization policy an approach that integrates the quality assurance system, education and instruction, research and development, social contribution, and management system policies with the strategies and targets determined in line with these policies, and the internationalization-based activities defined in its strategic plan. In this context, the university aims to train individuals with high international competitiveness, support international connections and partnerships, facilitate international mobility of students and staff, provide services as an international and intercultural institution, and ensure sustainability in these services.
 

Distance Education Policy
Giresun University adopts as its distance education policy an approach that, in accordance with its mission and vision, develops and sustains synchronous and asynchronous teaching activities through course tools and applications compatible with the quality assurance system and education and instruction policies. This policy aims to continuously improve the quality and technical infrastructure of distance education through the provision of qualified information resources and support services to students and faculty throughout the education period, and to systematically monitor evaluations related to the distance education system with the participation of all relevant stakeholders.
