With the support of the General Directorate of Cinema under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, the Universal Science Fiction and Fantasy Film Festival (US3F 2026), now in its fifth year, is preparing to bring film enthusiasts from all across Turkey face-to-face with the world of the future.

As the official screening partner for the Giresun leg of the festival, Giresun University’s Tirebolu Faculty of Communication is thrilled to host this prestigious event. The Giresun program of the festival will kick off with an opening ceremony on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the Prof. Dr. Taner Karahasanoğlu Conference Hall at the Tirebolu Faculty of Communication. Throughout the events, which will run until May 13, the latest examples of science fiction and fantasy will be presented to the audience.
