Hakan Aslıyüksek, Director of the Port of Tirebolu, paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yağbasan, Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Giresun University, to thank him for his contributions to the events and activities organized in celebration of Maritime and Cabotage Day on July 1.

During the visit, which took place on September 28, 2026, discussions focused on raising awareness in the field of maritime affairs, ensuring that information about the activities is communicated accurately and effectively to the public, and enhancing cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, attention was drawn to the importance of the ongoing collaboration between the Tirebolu Port Authority and the Faculty of Communication at Giresun University in Tirebolu. It was noted that the two institutions continue to work together as partner organizations, particularly in promoting maritime culture and bringing maritime activities in the region to the public’s attention.
